Sometimes all it takes is a fresh perspective on a familiar posture to unlock all sorts of new sensations and benefits. Grab your props, find a wall and get ready to work through the details of foundational postures in an entirely new way. Variations create opportunities to notice sensations that are lost in the familiar. And we appreciate your understanding of our brief technical difficulties.

2 Hour Morning Wakeup - Breaking down the DeaTails

This practice is slow yet very strong and integral. During this class, we focus on chatturanga and updog and how they contribute to bigger postures, such as arm balances and inversions. There will be some moments for you to stop and watch as I break down elements of these postures and describe the how and why. As always, you will feel strong, stretched and invigorated.

The Yoga Lab Lecture

During these labs, we look at each posture in extreme detail and describe how and why. Physically and energetically, and look at different body types and limitations. During this class excerpt, we had difficulty moving past the child's pose. We speak to teaching to the bodies that are in front of you that there is no one right way to do a yoga posture and each posture must work for each individual practitioner.

2 Hour Morning Wakeup - Do it All

Welcome to another two-hour energizing morning practice. This is really my favourite kind of class to teach. We move fast, we move fun, and we do it all to feel really, really good! When I think of my signature class, this is it—core, inversions, stretch and strength. There is lots of time and opportunity to work on your “fun postures,” like inversions and arm balances.

2 Hour Morning Wakeup - Ultra Chill with Jesse

Welcome back to the ytt room! Meet Jesse Barlow. I have had the honour of knowing Jesse as a friend and mentor for over a decade. We actually met when I was attending my very first 200hr ytt, all those years ago! Jesse has such an immense wealth of knowledge on so many aspects of this practice, and I knew he needed to be there by my side for the very first Dedica Ytt. Jesse is a calm and grounding force and his classes and teachings very much reflect that. I am so excited to be able to give all of you the opportunity to practice with him because it is truly such a treat. This class is an ultra slow, ultra grounding practice. There is an emphasis on hips, hamstrings and low back stretching. Enjoy!

This class is very slow, very deep and very restorative. If you want to feel stretched and relaxed, this class is for you! Enjoy this super slow and stretchy vinyasa, which gradually moves you to open each part of your body. We work to deeply release the shoulders, spine, neck, hips, hamstrings and front body. This is truly one of my favourites! Take your time!

Evening Moving Meditation with Jesse

Grab a blanket, a pillow and take a breath. You'll be moving a bit, but this gentle 45-minute flow is designed to help you slow down and get ready to rest or just land back in the body.
